Heatwaves are increasing in frequency and duration, leading to more pronounced health consequences for populations previously unaffected by these extreme weather events. While the physical impact is well documented, the psychological effects, such as emotional changes, remain underexplored. This study examines affect and coping mechanisms using an experience sampling technique.
