Modeling a Moral Stressor In the Laboratory: Development of an Experimental Analog for Moral Injury

Research on Moral Injury is largely based on cross-sectional observational studies, mostly retrospective. Current experimental psychopathology paradigms rely on mental imagery and lack ecological validity. The potential of a decision-making game with real stakes to model moral transgression and induce Moral Injury-related outcomes is tested.
