Abstract

Analysis of a large sample of 6837 community-dwelling older adults with subclinical depressive symptoms revealed that those with persistent symptoms following intervention had a significantly more densely connected baseline symptom network than those who recovered. This finding provides direct support for the network theory of psychopathology.
