Abstract

In a two-wave longitudinal study (Nₜ₁ = 155, Nₜ₂ = 48), it is examined of whether the predictability of actions promotes cooperation even if the goals direction opposes cooperation. Results indicate that self-oriented goals at t₁ (at school) significantly predict cooperation at t₂ with new partners (university).
