Abstract
Mixed emotional states were examined in a sample of 2,414 youth (Mage = 11.85; 46.19% girls). Compared with the positive-dominant mixed-emotion group, the negative-dominant group exhibited stronger negative network connections and a higher risk of anxiety and depression. It provides new avenues for predicting and intervening in internalizing symptoms.
