Abstract

Inhibition of Return (IOR) was tested using low (0.5 cycles/degree, magnocellular-biased) and high (12 cycles/degree, parvocellular-biased) spatial-frequency targets in a cueing task. Across two experiments, IOR appeared at longer cue-target delays but spatial frequency did not affect its size or timing, indicating it originates downstream of the lateral geniculate nucleus.
