Beyond Lateness: Predictors of Consistency In Employee Arrival and Departure Times

Abstract
Using one year of objective clock-in data (N=84), we examined predictors of consistency in daily attendance. Results show distinct antecedents for arrival versus departure variability: lateness attitudes predict arrival consistency, while job satisfaction predicts departure consistency. Both work-family conflict directions significantly impacted schedule stability
