Abstract

AI-driven technological shifts are changing job skill demands, requiring adults to build new skills and repurpose existing ones. We hypothesize that two skill beliefs—Awareness of Skills Transferability and Confidence in Reskilling—predict Career Change Self-Efficacy and learning engagement. We will validate new scales and test the model with 4,200 Singaporean adults.
