Abstract
We examined whether severe weather phobia and weather-related PTSD predict climate change acceptance in a diverse sample of 451 U.S. adults. A hierarchical regression showed that weather phobia symptoms and perceived acceptance of global warming among friends and family were the strongest predictors of participants’ climate change acceptance.
