Negatively Worded Items In Psychological Assessments: Disentangling the Method Factor

This study examines whether the method factor underlying negatively worded items relates to depression, stress, inattention, and social isolation to disentangle what it represents. Structural equation modeling will analyze data from 200 participants. Findings will enhance understanding of negatively worded items and guide assessment development and use in clinical practice.
