Perceived Personal Control As a Double-Edged Moderator of the Effects of Objective and Subjective Income Statuses on Subjective Well-Being

Abstract
The study showed that, while high perceived personal control buffered the effects of objective income status on subjective well-being outcomes such as perceived deprivation and life satisfaction, high perceived personal control amplified the effects of subjective income status on perceived deprivation, life satisfaction, positive affect, and happiness.
