Abstract
This experimental study examined whether excluding high rape myth acceptance (RMA) jurors reduces verdict bias in a sexual assault trial. College participants rated defendant guilt after reading trial summaries varying in consensual contact, alcohol use, and relationship type. Findings showed that removing high-RMA jurors eliminated bias associated with consensual contact.
