“That the Powerful Play Goes on, and You May Contribute a Verse”: Poetry’s Role In Construction of Meaning In Life

This mixed methods study aims to examine the role that reading poetry plays in the individual construction of meaning. Participants will be assessed using meaning in life scales (MLQ/MEMS) and three phenomenological access questions. The goal is to reveal how people incorporate poetry into the construction of meaning in life.
