Words In Mind: Content Elaboration but Not Speech Rate Related to Older Adults' Semantic WM

Abstract
This research examined the role of semantic and phonological working memory in spontaneous language production for healthy younger and older adults. Results suggest differences in language production with age that are associated with changes in semantic verbal working memory capacity, or the ability to store word meanings in working memory.
