Abstract
This study addresses the question: can an internally generated ensemble representation facilitate the processing of stimuli that share features with this representation? The results revealed that ensemble representations (i.e., the mean and range) can influence subsequent perception, facilitating faster responses to stimuli that are consistent with recently processed ensemble information.
