Abstract
Activation parenting is a caregiving style from research on fathers that balances challenging children with limit-setting. Using a longitudinal design, the proposed project will test if paternal activation parenting in the preschool period lessens the severity of emerging ADHD symptoms in kindergarten through dyadic physiological processes underlying child inhibitory control.
