Abstract
Adolescents recently hospitalized for suicidal thoughts and behaviors (STB) wore Electronically Activated Recorders (EAR) for 14 days post-discharge. Time-varying effect models showed steep declines in naturally occurring STB-related talk and robust early associations between negative-affect vocalizations and STB-related conversations. Findings highlight behavioral, real-world markers of acute suicide risk.
