Meaning-Construction for Socially Transitioning Transgender and Gender Queer Individuals: Application of the Tripartite Model.

This qualitative study intends to investigate lived experiences of meaning-construction for transgender and gender queer individuals who are actively or continually socially transitioning. This proposes a novel use of George and Park’s tripartite model of meaning in life. Responses will be analyzed for construction of meaning through the transitioning journey.
