Abstract

This project tests the hypothesis that joint musical improvisation and conversation share predictive and adaptive coordinative mechanisms indexable via dual-EEG hyperscanning. Three experiments (90 dyads each) building on pilot data will compare musical, motor, and control activities and test oscillatory mechanisms supporting real-time interpersonal alignment across musical and linguistic interaction.
