Abstract

Our study examined the relationship between human protection laws, happiness, and social support across 209 countries. Using UN data, hierarchical regression analyses showed laws accounted for 10% and 33% of the variance in happiness and social support, respectively. Results can support future research into legal efficacy within social justice work.
