Testing a Single-Session Intervention for Families on Waitlists for Child Anxiety Treatment

Abstract
We tested a brief, low-intensity single-session intervention (EASY) designed to support families on waitlists for child anxiety treatment. In a randomized trial with English- and Spanish-speaking families, EASY produced reductions in youth anxiety severity and impact and was rated highly acceptable, demonstrating a promising approach to support families awaiting services.
