Abstract
We examined what information researchers need to determine the smallest effect size of interest (SESOI) and tested a practical SESOI-setting procedure. In a study with memory researchers (N = 57), most could determine a SESOI using the provided materials. We propose a generalizable, consensus-based framework to support SESOI determination.
