Abstract
The Classroom Appraisal of Resources and Demands (CARD) is rooted in the Transactional Model of Stress. This study incorporated a multi-method approach, linking the CARD with other relevant self-report measures of well-being and a biological indicator of stress, hair cortisol concentration, to extend its construct validity for K-12 teachers.
