N2pc As an Index of Attention Shifting for Emotional Faces: The Role of Task Type

Abstract
We investigate whether the N2pc emerges in a line direction or a luminance change task involving irrelevant emotional facial expressions (N = 28).Our results indicate that the presence of the N2pc varies across different types of irrelevant emotional tasks, indicating that it is sensitive to factors such as task difficulty.
