Abstract

This study used eye-tracking to compare social attention in 34 children with ADHD and 74 neurotypical peers aged 6-12. Children with ADHD showed impaired joint attention and relied on prolonged face-looking for social comprehension. However, eye-tracking measures did not predict daily social functioning, suggesting more complex underlying mechanisms.
