Abstract

This study examined how temporal constraints shape the interaction between Pavlovian biases and instrumental learning during decision-making in a Go/No-Go task. Results (N = 98) revealed that shorter time increases the reliance on maladaptive Pavlovian biases, while longer times allowed participants to engage with goal-directed instrumental learning successfully.
