Abstract
This study examined whether experiences of anti-transgender and nonbinary (TNB) discrimination predicted same-day and next-day alcohol and cannabis use. Participants were more likely to drink alcohol and to drink more heavily on days they experienced anti-TNB discrimination. TNB adults were less likely to use cannabis on days following anti-TNB discrimination.
