Abstract

This qualitative study explores what factors influence psychology students' engagement with curriculum decolonisation initiatives. We interviewed 21 undergraduate students. Using critical realist approach, we identified key contextual factors and mechanisms shaping engagement. The findings offer evidence-informed insights to help educators and institutions design more meaningful, effective, and inclusive decolonisation efforts.
