Abstract

Early adversity assessed by Early Trauma Inventory moderated the relationship between serum TNF-alpha levels and right nucleus-right hippocampus resting-state brain functional connectivity in 73 adolescents with major depressive disorder (51 girls, Mean age = 15), highlighting the need to consider early adversity when investigating neuroimmune mechanisms in adolescents with depression.
