Abstract
Neighborhood crime has demonstrated impacts on health. Less understood are the physiological mechanisms through which the effects of violence are transduced to health outcomes across development. In the proposed research, we will examine the impact of both timing and duration of neighborhood violence on hair cortisol concentration over time.
