Abstract
We examined relations between culturally sensitive parenting (calm authority), general supportive parenting, and child adjustment in 219 Latin American parents (Mage = 32 years) and children (Mage = 40 months). Behaviors from a dyadic task showed that calm authority and supportive parenting was related to behavioral and emotional adjustment, respectively.
