Abstract
Analyzing session-by-session psychotherapy data of 646 clients, this study found that well-being changes non-linearly across treatment and differs by racial/ethnic identity. These findings emphasize that symptom reduction does not equate to improved well-being and call for the integration of well-being assessments into care to inform more holistic, equitable clinical care.
