Abstract
This randomized controlled study of 153 incarcerated men in four Israeli prisons tested an incremental-belief video intervention before a victim awareness program. Compared with controls, the intervention increased incremental beliefs, emotional involvement (sadness, guilt, shame, remorse), and support for restorative justice; emotional involvement mediated the effect on later restorative-justice support.
