A Structural Examination of School Readiness: Key Elements and Developmental Stability Via Network Analysis

Abstract
Drawing on Dynamic Systems Theory, network analysis was applied to model school readiness in 948 children (51% boys, Mage = 57 months). The method identified structural relationships among academic, social-emotional, and learning approaches. Executive Function, Literacy, and Math were found to be the invariant, high-centrality components, guiding targeted intervention development.
