From Exposure to Empowerment: How Early Career Exploration and Enrichment Experiences Foster College Preparedness and Racial Resilience Among Black Students

This study investigates how early participation in college and career exposure programs shapes Black students’ college readiness, mentorship access, professional networks, and resilience to racial prejudice. Using a mixed-methods design (survey N=100; interviews n=10), results indicate enhanced preparedness, stronger networks, and improved coping strategies, offering insights for educators and policymakers.
