Abstract
We examined the relationship between social media (SM) use and mental health among 207 Greek adults (126 females; Mage = 24.6). Measures included depression (DASS-21-D), loneliness (UCLA-LS), and quality of life (WHOQOL-BREF). Active SM use correlated with lower depression and loneliness, whereas passive and excessive use predicted poorer psychological outcomes.
