Beyond the Rainbow Poster: Developing and Validating a Scale for LGBTQ+-Inclusive Teaching

Abstract
This study developed and validated the LGBTQ+-Inclusive Teaching Scale among 305 secondary school teachers. The scale captures two factors: (1) instructional and environmental inclusion and (2) interpersonal affirmation. Results support its reliability and validity, highlighting factors that promote LGBTQ+-inclusive teaching and offering a tool for research and professional development.
