Abstract

Sexual misconduct within law enforcement agencies undermines integrity and diminishes community trust. Our study examined the relationship between sexual harassment history and marital status as predictors of sexual misconduct among U.S. police officers. Results revealed that prior marriage and previous sexual harassment complaints predicted sexual misconduct within their first year.
