Abstract
This qualitative study employs Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis to examine how Intimate Partner Violence (IPV) impacts survivors’ career development through the lens of Career Self-Determination Theory. Semi-structured interviews explore disruptions to autonomy, competence, and relatedness, with the aim of informing the design of evidence-based, trauma-informed career counselling interventions for survivors.
