Abstract
This study compares the impact of cultural dissonance and acculturation stress on mental health among First-gen, 1.5-gen, and Second-gen immigrants (n = 3,243). Using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM), results show that 1.5-gen immigrants experience more depression and irritability compared to Second-gen, indicating a need for targeted mental health interventions.
