Abstract
White, SA, or SEA heritage students completed a source memory task with items paired with an interpersonal or individual context. SEA students reported higher interdependence vs. SA/White students on one aspect of self-construal. Another dimension of self-construal predicted source memory, reflecting group and individual effects of culture on memory.
