Content Analysis of Graduate Medical Education: Applying Objectives of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusivity from Graduate Psychological Sciences Curriculum

Abstract

Twenty articles from the Journal of Graduate Medical Education (2023 - current) were analyzed using a psychology-informed DEI coding framework. Key themes aligned across disciplines, while underrepresented areas revealed curricular gaps. Findings support using cross-disciplinary analysis to inform inclusive teaching, guide student inquiry, and strengthen DEI integration in graduate education.
