Abstract
Persistent and constant worry is a major symptom of generalized anxiety disorder (GAD) (Harvard Health, 2024). This study analyzed the effects of childhood trauma on adult worry. There were 1018 participants. A multiple regression analysis found that childhood trauma significantly predicted worry in adults (ß=.137, p<.001).
