Abstract

This quantitative experimental study (N=100 young Indian adults) intends to look at how language proficiency affects moral decision making. It is hypothesized that dilemmas in the language of less proficiency will result in more utilitarian decisions mediated by social proximity. This study offers a novel insight for the Indian context.
