Abstract
This study investigates the impact of situational anxiety on syntactic processing. Using eye-tracking, we examine garden path processing under anxiety-inducing and neutral conditions. The findings aim to elucidate how anxiety affects syntactic reanalysis and cognitive effort, thereby advancing our understanding of the interplay between emotional states and language processing.
