Abstract
The present study highlights the psychometric properties of the Center for Epidemiologic Studies Depression Scale (CES-D; Radloff, 1977), a 20-item self-report screening tool of depression. We will also discuss the relevance of the CES-D for young adults in India. Implications for research and clinical practice will be discussed.
