Perceived Risk of Occasional Drug Use and Ease of Access to Drugs By Male and Female Adolescents from 2019 to 2023

The trends suggest a temporary reduction in perceived access to drugs during the pandemic years, followed by a rebound and female students consistently reported higher perceived risk than males. Perceived ease of access to drugs and perceived risk of occasional drug use were associated with marijuana use abstention.
