Abstract

We examined whether positive emotion regulation (PER) mediates the relationship between positive childhood experiences and burnout in medical students. 124 participants (M_age = 24.5) completed validated measures. Results showed full mediation (β = -0.664, p < .001), supporting PER as a protective mechanism.
