Abstract

We examined the simultaneous effects of perceived stress and depression on facets of tobacco craving in 65 participants (Mage = 45.41; SD = 9.79). Depression was a robust predictor of compulsive and emotional craving, highlighting the need for mental health support to manage craving and enhance tobacco-cessation efforts.
