Examining the Effect of Musical Tempo on Participants' Ability to Form and Sustain Attention

The proposed study extends the attention literature by examining how differently-paced musical stimuli affects an individual's ability to quickly establish and intentionally shift attention. Participants will complete a visual search task to determine the effects of beats per minute (BPM) on search performance.
